MORA Financial Policy Addendum
Approved by the MORA Board December 9, 2010
1. Participants at MORA events requiring registration and a registration fee shall receive a 10% discount on the basic registration fee if the participant registers by the early bird date. This discount does not apply to additional costs such as tours, extra activities, added meals etc. 2. Participants at MORA events requiring registration and a registration fee under $200 shall pay a surcharge of 50% above the basic registration fee (rounded to the nearest whole dollar) if the individual registers within 72 hours of the posted start time of the event or registers on site. Participants at MORA events requiring registration and a registration fee over $200 shall pay a surcharge fee of $50.00 above the basic registration fee if the individual registers within 72 hours of the posted start time of the event or registers on site. If the event includes additional activities requiring preregistration and prepayment, a 50% surcharge on the cost of each additional activity shall be applied as well for those who register within the 72 hour window or at the event itself. 3. No-shows at MORA events requiring registration fees for the event and associated activities may receive an 80% reimbursement of their fees (rounded to the nearest whole dollar) if notice of cancellation is provided to MORA at least 72 hours prior to the published start date and time of the first activity of the event. If no notice of cancellation is provided at least 72 hours prior, no reimbursement will be provided. |
