Call for Nominations – MORA Board of Directors
MORA Board of Directors Candidate Nominations Are Now Being Accepted ~
This is a great opportunity to apply your skills and interests to an organization that:
*Establishes sound statewide policies to advance recycling
*Engages industry, government, institutions and citizens through education and technical assistance
*Strengthens end-use markets for recovered materials
*Puts on one of the best conferences in the Midwest, highlighting national experts and local successes
The Missouri Recycling Association (MORA) Board of Directors is comprised of a very active, all-volunteer board consisting of 12 board members, including 4 officer positions. Each elected member serves a 3-year term. Serving on the board includes a commitment to being a unified voice for MORA, as well as attending monthly half-day Board of Director meetings in mid-Missouri and participation in committee work of your choosing.
Board candidates must be a member in good standing. There are four seats available for election which will occur during the Annual Conference, September 22-24, 2020 at Hilton Branson Convention Center. Members not attending the conference will have an opportunity to vote electronically or by mail, prior to the election.
